What We Do

Banner Health and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center opened Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center on Sept. 26, 2011 on the campus of Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Ariz. The center joined Banner Health, one of the country's largest nonprofit health care systems, with MD Anderson, internationally renowned for its cancer treatment and research, to deliver unprecedented levels of cancer care in Arizona.

Patients at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center receive care based on the same protocols and practice standards provided at MD Anderson and benefit from integration with MD Anderson specialists in Houston. Advanced technologies, treatment alternatives, support services, patient and family amenities, and evidence-based design elements provide an unmatched healing environment.

Inside Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center are outpatient services including radiation treatment, diagnostic imaging and infusion therapy, cancer specific clinics and support services. Banner Gateway Medical Center provides inpatient care such as surgery, interventional radiology and stem cell transplantation.
